In the financial year 2025–2026, HECS further strengthened its commitment to educational upliftment through infrastructure development by undertaking a key CSR initiative: the construction of new school buildings for CSI Middle School,
located in Thandurai Pattabiram, Chennai.

CSI Middle School has been a vital learning space for children from underprivileged communities in and around Thandurai. However, the lack of permanent classrooms and safe infrastructure posed significant challenges to both students and staff. Makeshift classrooms, overcrowded spaces, and insufficient facilities were limiting the school’s ability to provide quality education.

To address this, HECS stepped in with a focused mission—to build strong, safe, and sustainable school infrastructure that would support current and future generations of learners. Through this CSR project, new school buildings were constructed, complete with spacious classrooms, proper ventilation, durable roofing, and basic amenities essential for a functional academic environment. This initiative goes beyond just brick and mortar. It creates a long-lasting educational foundation that promotes dignity, accessibility, and hope. The newly built school blocks now provide children with a secure and inspiring place to study,
learn, and grow, free from distractions caused by poor infrastructure. 

Teachers now have well-structured spaces to conduct lessons effectively, and parents in the community feel more confident enrolling their children, knowing they are in a safe and nurturing environment. The construction project has also uplifted the local community by creating temporary employment and fostering a shared sense of pride.

At HECS, we believe in enabling change at the grassroots level. This school construction project exemplifies our goal of delivering impactful CSR work that addresses real needs, especially in the area of education. We continue to build more
