Job Overview

We are looking for a graduate or postgraduate engineering trainee (GET/PGET) with a background in Environmental, Civil, or chemical engineering to join our projects & consultancy team in Chennai. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career engineers who are eager to gain hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment solutions, design, field execution, and documentation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Technical Training and Learning

• Undergo training on wastewater and water treatment technologies like RO, UF, ETP, STP, WTP.
• Learn about process flows, plant components, and operations.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and system layouts.

2. Site Exposure and Fieldwork

• Assist in plant installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor plant operations and support performance tuning.
• Accompany senior engineers for maintenance and technical checks.

3. Design and Engineering Support

• Support basic design calculations, layout development, and BOQs.
• Prepare datasheets and specifications, and review drawings.
• Collaborate with CAD and process teams on detailed designs.

4. Project Execution Assistance

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers.
• Track dispatches, inspections, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and industry regulations.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain logs of training progress and site activities.
• Assist with project handover documents and reports.

• Strong academic background in an environmental or chemical-related discipline
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Basic AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge
