Types of Water We Test
Our laboratory tests nine types of water: drinking, packaged drinking, ground, surface, irrigation, construction, cooling tower, industrial and swimming pool water. Each sample is assessed against the parameters and standard relevant to its intended use.

Water Quality Parameters We Test
Water quality testing typically covers physico-chemical parameters, trace metals and microbiological parameters. Where risks exist, organic contaminants such as pesticides, PAHs, PCBs, trihalomethanes and VOCs are also analysed. The parameters selected depend on the water type, its use and the applicable standard.
Physico-Chemical Parameters
General parameters describe the basic physical and chemical character of water and form the core of most assessments, including testing as per IS 10500.
Trace Metals
Trace metal elements, including heavy metals, can affect health and equipment even at low concentrations. Analysis is supported by ICP-MS and AAS instrumentation.
Microbiological Parameters
We test for pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria to identify contamination and confirm hygienic quality.
Organic and Specialised Contaminants
- Pesticides: residues from agricultural runoff
- PAHs: compounds linked to combustion and petroleum sources
- PCBs: persistent industrial pollutants
- Trihalomethanes: by-products of chlorine disinfection
- VOCs: solvents and other industrial chemicals
These analyses use GC, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS and HPLC instrumentation. For water used in medicinal applications, we also conduct endotoxin and aflatoxin testing; these tests apply only where the water's use requires them.
