Job Description:

HECS is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to develop comprehensive electrical designs for water and wastewater treatment projects including STP, ETP, pumping stations, filtration units, and associated infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering projects on time and within budget while adhering to industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical design and engineering plans for STP, ETP, WTP, and related systems.
• Create design documentation including SLDs, cable schedules, load calculations, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare detailed BOQ and BOM, estimation reports, and design calculations.
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers for integrated project delivery.
• Supervise and guide CAD operators and junior designers.
• Coordinate with procurement and execution teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, safety standards, and client specifications.

Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design within the water treatment or infrastructure sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, estimation, and control panel layouts.
• Proven experience in supervising CAD/design teams and working cross-functionally with other engineering disciplines.
• Excellent communication, planning, and project coordination skills.

Educational Qualifications:

• UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering
• PG: M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
