Intelligent Wastewater Treatment for Sustainable Water Reuse

Hubert Enviro Care Systems Limited (HECS) successfully executed the 2 MLD Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) Sewage Treatment Plant at Manali New Town, Chennai, delivering a modern wastewater treatment solution designed to improve sanitation, protect the environment, and maximize water reuse.

The facility utilizes Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) technology. In this advanced activated sludge process, equalization, aeration, biological treatment, settling, and decanting are carried out within a single reactor in sequential cycles. This highly automated process provides excellent removal of organic pollutants, suspended solids, and nutrients while maintaining consistent treatment efficiency despite fluctuations in sewage flow and load.

The treated water produced by the plant is suitable for non-potable reuse applications, helping conserve freshwater resources while supporting sustainable urban water management. By integrating advanced process automation with energy-efficient operation, the project delivers long-term operational reliability and environmental compliance.

HECS is proud to partner with the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) in strengthening Chennai's wastewater infrastructure and promoting responsible water resource management.
